Build distribution

Share a build without an account

Choose one ready build and create a link or QR code. Recipients can open its download page without an account. Each Share Link expires after seven days, and you can revoke it sooner.

Android APKs can be downloaded for installation. Eligible iOS IPAs offer over-the-air installation, subject to device and signing rules. AABs are download-only.

For ongoing access, invite a Build Tester to sign in. AppBarn does not currently email Share Links automatically.

Common questions

Before you share

Do stored builds expire?

Ready builds have no automatic age-based expiry. They remain until authorised deletion, subject to plan storage limits. Share Links expire separately after seven days.

Does a recipient need an account?

No for a Share Link. Anyone holding it can download the linked build until it expires or is revoked. Assigned Build Testers sign in to see their permitted builds.

Can every file be installed on a phone?

No. Android APKs download for installation. AABs are download-only. iOS over-the-air installation needs an eligible IPA and compatible provisioning and signing.

Do you store my signing keys?

No. Re-signing uses credentials on your machine or in your CI environment, not on AppBarn servers.
